A Life Steeped in Education, a Heart for Advocacy: The Bryce Jepsen Story
Bryce sits on the board of a non-profit that aims to create a vibrant and inclusive Santa Clarita Valley for the LGBTQIA+ community.
For 29 years, Santa Clarita Valley has been home to Bryce, a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and a scholar with a deep well of historical knowledge. This passion, however, found a specific focus during his Master's program in History at California State University, Northridge, where he honed his research and writing skills with a specialization in LGBTQIA+ history.
From scholar to educator, Bryce's six years at CSUN ignited a love of history, particularly the Gilded Age's social movements. This passion blossomed into expertise in California's LGBTQIA+ history, focusing on Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the community's struggles across eras, including wartime experiences and legal/scientific landscapes.
